3/18/2006 – Day 1 – Travel day
Today we begin our Copper Canyon trip in Mexico. We are leaving a day early because of our arrival times to El Paso, Texas, where our trip starts. We left early this morning, but with stops in New York and Georgia along with delays our 8:30pm arrival ended up being 11:30pm.
This trip is through Caravan Tours. We will travel through Mexico on a regular tour bus during our first and last days of travel and by trail back and forth through Copper Canyon
We are staying at the Hilton El Paso at the airport and upon arriving; we notice a very nice fountain. As you can see, the architecture is Southwestern which is a big change from the New England style where we just came from.
Tomorrow we have a meet and greet with the Tour Guide and the other people on the tour.
